It seems as though no activity exists in a vacuum. This may sound strange but it starts making a lot of sense when you think about it. There’s not a single activity, hobby or sport that an individual could get involved in that doesn’t involve an accessory of some sort. Even very simple activities, like smoking pipes, cigars or cigarettes can involve purchasing a wide range of accessories.

At its most basic, all you really need is tobacco and fire, to enjoy smoking, but that’s not how most tobacco enthusiasts see it. These smoking fanatics up the enjoyment factor of their habit with a wide range of smoking accessories that include everything from cigar cutters and humidors to specialty pipe lighters and tobacco pouches.

With most tobacco accessories there is, ostensibly, some very utilitarian purpose for the product. Elaborate cigarette cases make a fantastic fashion accessory, but they also serve a useful purpose as well. A hard metal case for your smokes protects them from breaking, and at $5-$10 a pack, cigarettes are an investment worth preserving.

Of course enjoying tobacco without accessories is possible. A book of matches serves the same purpose as an elaborate lighter, but the fancy lighter is a lot more fun to use.
